Nokia Vietnam Vietnam mobile phone equipment factory was built in VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park with an area of 17 hectares, with a total initial investment of 200 million Euro (equivalent to 300 million USD). This is Nokia's first factory in Southeast Asia and the company's 11th mobile phone production facility globally. At VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park, Nokia will participate in manufacturing, processing and assembling mobile phones. It is expected that the factory will officially come into operation in 2013, with an output of 180 thousand products/year, creating jobs for 10 thousand workers.

The construction of a Nokia mobile phone factory in Vietnam not only meets the increasing demand for basic phones of people, but also helps Nokia implement its strategy "Connect with the next billion people” globally.

Nokia first came to Vietnam in 1996. Currently, the Finnish phone company has 10 manufacturing factories from Latin America (Brazil and Mexico) to Europe (Hungary, Romania, Finland, England) and Asia (India, China and Korea).
