In the context of increasing demand for electricity, plus encouragement from the government, Royal Group decided to invest in the field of solar power.
Phase 1 with a 100MW plant has been implemented with research and construction contract negotiations in the last days of 2018.
In February 2019, the Solar Park1 and Solar Park2 solar power plant projects were officially started construction on an area of 118 hectares in Hamlet 3, Binh Hoa Nam commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province by Joint Venture Syouei (Japan) - TWT (Thailand) - Ngu Thuong - EEA (Vietnam). The rated capacity of a Factory is 50MW; Connection voltage 110kV.
It is expected that by the end of June 2019, it will be inaugurated and officially put into operation.
