Package NT-1.7: Construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the North; Supply and installation of mechanical equipment for wastewater pumping stations.

Wastewater treatment capacity: 15,000m3/day.
Using deep oxidation ditch technology.
The total construction area is 5.4 hectares, of which the factory is 3.03 hectares and the buffer zone is 2.37 hectares.

Location: Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province

Main contractor: Joint venture of Ngu Thuong Engineering - Construction Joint Stock Company and Seen Engineering Joint Stock Company.

Progress: 18 months from the date of commencement.

With the goal of increasing the operating capacity of the Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant, solving flooding and environmental pollution in the Northern area of the City, improving environmental sanitation, enhancing flood drainage and preventing landslides on both sides of the Cai River, combined with upgrading transportation infrastructure to meet the city's development needs as planned. On October 27, 2021, Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board signed a contract for package NT-1.7 with the Joint Venture of Ngu Thuong Engineering - Construction Joint Stock Company and Seen Engineering Joint Stock Company: Construction of the Northern wastewater treatment plant; Supply and installation of mechanical equipment for wastewater pumping stations under the project Sustainable Environment for Coastal Cities - Nha Trang Subproject.

The project includes 04 components.

Component 1: Expand sanitation infrastructure.
Component 2: Improve urban connectivity.
Component 3: Land clearance and resettlement.
Component 4: Technical assistance and institutional reform.

In December 2021, the project Sustainable Environment for Coastal Cities - Nha Trang Subproject officially began construction immediately after the Supervision Consultant issued a groundbreaking order, with the Joint Venture Company Ngu Thuong Engineering - Construction Joint Stock Company and Seen Engineering Joint Stock Company being the main contractor.
