By August 2015, PHC pile driving work had been implemented at the Van Thanh Park station and Tan Cang station construction sites. Both of these stations are located in soft ground, formerly a puddle on the banks of the Saigon River and Van Thanh Lake, so the anti-subsidence work has been carefully calculated by engineers to ensure the stations have the best structure.
