Sustainable Environment Project for Coastal Cities

With the goal of increasing the operating capacity of the Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant, solving flooding and environmental pollution in the Northern area of the City, improving environmental sanitation, enhancing flood drainage and preventing landslides on both sides of the Cai River, combined with upgrading transportation infrastructure to meet the city's development needs as planned. On August 26, 2019, Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board signed a contract for package NT1.3 with Ngu Thuong Engineering - Construction Joint Stock Company: Construction of pumping stations, separator wells and wastewater drainage networks of levels 1, 2, 3 under the project Sustainable Environment for Coastal Cities - Nha Trang Subproject.

The project includes 04 components.

Component 1: Expanding sanitation infrastructure;
Component 2: Improving urban connectivity;
Component 3: Site clearance and resettlement;
Component 4: Technical assistance and institutional reform.

In October 2019, the project Sustainable Environment for Coastal Cities - Nha Trang Subproject officially began construction immediately after receiving the order to start construction by the Supervision Consultant with Ngu Thuong Construction Engineering Joint Stock Company as the main contractor.

It is expected that around mid-February 2021, it will be inaugurated and officially put into operation.
