Package NT-1.7: Construction of wastewater treatment plant in the North; supply and install mechanical equipment for wastewater pumping stations.

• Waste water treatment capacity: 15,000m3/day.
• Using deep oxidation ditch technology.
• The total construction area is 5.4 ha, of which the factory is 3.03 ha, the buffer zone is 2.37 ha.

Progress: 18 months from the date of commencement.

With the goal of increasing the operating capacity of the Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant, solving flooding and environmental pollution in the northern part of the city, improving environmental sanitation, and enhancing flood drainage capacity. and anti-erosion on both sides of Cai River in combination with upgrading transport infrastructure to meet the city's development needs as planned. On October 27, 2021, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board signed a contract for NT-1.7 package with the Joint Venture Ngu Thuong Engineering - Construction Joint Stock Company and Seen Engineering Joint Stock Company: Construction construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the North; supply and installation of mechanical equipment for wastewater pumping stations under the Sustainable Environment in Coastal Cities project - Nha Trang Subproject.

The project consists of 4 components.

• Component 1: Expanding sanitation infrastructure.
• Component 2: Improving urban connectivity.
• Component 3: Site clearance and resettlement.
• Component 4: Technical assistance and institutional reform.

 
In December 2021, the sustainable environment project in coastal cities - Nha Trang sub-project officially started construction right after the construction order was issued by the Supervision Consultant by the Joint Venture Company of Engineering Joint Stock Company. – Ngu Thuong Construction and Seen Engineering Joint Stock Company are the main contractors.
