Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien

Owner: Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR)
Progress: 2012 to 2017 (initial plan)
Main Contractor: Sumitomo-Cienco6 Consortium
Items carried out by Ngu Thuong: Package PKG3, PKG4 It is RC structure for stations including An Phu, National University, Tan Cang, Van Thanh Park and Suoi Tien Terminal.
Each station include 3 floors. The ground floor is for the entrance, stairs, machine room. Level 2 for waiting space. Level 3 is platform. Suoi Tien Terminal is 2 level as it is on downslope to depot.
National University Station: Last concrete pouring at end of April

Until August 2015, PHC Pilling work has been implemented at Tan Cang and Van Thanh Park Station. Both stations were located in the soft-ground areas whe-re time ago was a plash beside the Sai Gon riverside and Van Thanh lake. Therefore, to solve the settlement , our engineers has carefully calculated to ensure stations have a best structure.
Van Thanh Park Station: Foundation was completed at Van Thanh Park Station on March 2016
Van Thanh Park Station: Few weeks later, foundation and underground tanks and rooms were covered under sand layers. Site is ready for concourse works.
Tan Cang Station: Foundation is on halfway of completion.
Tan Cang Station: Works shall be speed up with operation of tower cranes. Following general schedule, all underground works should be completed before raining season.
