Samsung will start construction on the Samsung CE Ho Chi Minh City Complex (SEHC) at the Ho Chi Minh City Hi-tech Park with a total investment of 1.4 billion USD, built on an area of 70 hectare.
It will be a base for Samsung’s research and development (R&D) activities and manufacturing hi-tech electronic products. It will produce consumer electronic goods, such as Smart TV 3D, refresher, refrigerator, wasing machine such as hi-tech 3D Smart TV, air conditioner, refrigerator, washer-tech applications for brands Samsung, which is mainly the Smart TV line. Complex plants going into operation not only serve the needs of domestic users, but the products produced here will be targeted for export to foreign markets.
Complex of consumer electronics at Saigon Hi-Tech Park is the third key project of Samsung in Vietnam after Samsung facilities in northern Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces. The project is expected to contribute to promoting export turnover of high technology products of the city, while improving qualifications of technicians and human resources for high-tech research and development in the city in the future.
In this project, Ngu Thuong Ltd. In charge for Refrigrator factory of Phase 2 with the contract price over 5,56 million USD. This project is a large-scale investment, require ultra-fast progress, there are times construction volume up to 500 cubic of concrete and 70 tons of steel a day, our workers have to work alternately constantly in order to ensure timely progress of the Project .

After 6 months of construction, the remaining works are mainly the finishing work on the roof and the connection between phase 1 and phase 2.
